Good catch, Ryleigh.

Also, another two cameos for you! The hipster-looking knight is another brother-in-law, Ethan! The woman next to him is my best friend, Melissa. She totally would be a hardcore knight/guardian of some kind in real life if we all lived a fantasy world, I'm quite sure.

My first thought was, wait how did Silas get outside? Then I remembered what happened last time- he got whacked through the door! Yikes! That's gotta hurt!

@Alex M: Yeah! Don't worry, he's not concussed. ;-) Although maybe it would be better if he got knocked out for this next part...

AAAAAAA poor Silas!!! Oh my he must be dying. :'(
Livin4thelamb August 7th, 2017, 5:49 am
@Kawainohia: He's not the only one...heh heh.

Wow, this really shows us how much everyone cares for Selina and Silas! First, they tried to come and save Silas and 'Selina' from the monster that had broken in, and now you can really see their expressions of fear that 'Selina' is falling!! Also, WOW! Dragon Selina gets even better!!! :) :)

@Elizabeth Weadick: Yeah! It's Ryleigh's job to keep the royal family safe. Whoops. Dragons usually don't come up in the job description.

I really like Ryleigh's culturally distinctive clothing. The scimitar is so cool!

Also, I genuinely ache for Silas in this scene. "Whoo-hoo, married to my best friend! Now we can be alo--oh snap..." His heart looks like it's about to be crushed :(

@MJ Neal: Thank you! I've really enjoyed designing Ryleigh's character and determining her look. I've definitely blended some cultures: she's wearing a saree (a typical Indian type of attire) and her sword is a mixture between a scimitar (Arabian sword) and a talwar (Indian sword). Even her full name: Ryleigh Hamia Abhibhaavak, is a mixture of Arabic and Hindi words.
And yes, me too :-( Poor guy has to watch what appears to be his new wife about to be torched.

Uh oh. Someone's gunna have a big grudge on the real Selina :o
Livin4thelamb August 7th, 2017, 9:32 pm
@Anselme: "Honey! How could you?!"

Silas flying through the air toward Riley made me grin. I love the expressions on both their faces! (It's a very good thing Riley had lowered her sword. That could have been messy.) I also liked how you defined the muscles in her arms. Her emphasized strength makes the second panel, where she catches Silas with barely a flinch, believable.

The contrasts between the fifth and sixth panels are brilliant. Silas stands in the light with honest terror on his face, while not-Selina cowers in the shadows. And, finally, the dragon-fire. Dragon-fire! Well done!

@Becky Farb: Thanks so much! :D

Ooh, I just caught the symbolism of not-Selina's tiara falling off. Nice one! I have sevreal memories of you saying symbolism in my head that are playing right now. :)
Livin4thelamb August 8th, 2017, 11:54 pm
@Alex M: Ah HA! I wondered who would point that out! Thanks!

Burn the witch Well this is going to be fun for Selina to explain. Alsp, is it me or does this add a whole new level to the term "bridezilla"?
Livin4thelamb August 9th, 2017, 11:25 am
@Narnianexile: HAHAHA! I seriously just had to cover my laugh with a coughing fit because I'm at work right now. But yes! I didn't even think about that until now XD She really is bridezilla!
