Silas, didn't you read the beginning of this webcomic? You're CLEARLY supposed to fall for her.

The other few times Selina had seen the surface, it had been nighttime or cloudy - so this is the first time she's seen the sun.

...considering how pale she is, someone might want to give her sunscreen.

Man, Silas sure needs to go back and read the Christmas Day comic!!!!! :D I'm just so glad that everything is finally working out for Selina!!!!! I can't get over how happy she looks in the last panel---you can just see the happiness all over her face! And she sure is pale--hint, hint Selina, you might want to get out your bottle of sunscreen!!!! :D

@Elizabeth Weadick: Oh my word, Elizabeth, I almost choked on my lunch, that is hilarious. Ha ha ha!

I really like the close up of the king's face, the details like lines around his eyes and such. I'm actually surprised Selina likes the sun so much, that it doesn't burn her or at least frighten her, if she's lived her life underground.

@Alex M: Thanks Alex! Putting all the small details can be tedious but rewarding. And yes, it's BECAUSE she grew up underground that she likes the sun so much. Selina had read about it, heard it described, but had never seen the sun before and wanted to. Selina has a strong sense of curiosity and wants to know how the world works.

Again, I can't get over the child-like joy on Selina's face in these recent pages. And I love the detail of her hand's shadow in the final panel.

@Becky Farb: Thank you so much! I really like how that turned out as well.

Selina's joy in the last panel really sells her authenticity and honesty. Also, close up of the king provides some really warm details, especially the crow's feet around his eyes.

@MJ Neal: Thank you so much! Putting in all the details can take a long time, but it's worth it!
