Well, that this is your fault, that fence on the previous page looked nowhere near high or strong enough!

Getting trampled by any animal with the word "claw" in its name would not be a good way to go.

I take it you've reached your quota of one moment per book that the villain is startled. (Aren't those the best?) Also, I love the height that minion gets on his eyebrows. :P

@Alex M: Ha ha, your eyebrow comment made me snicker so loud that Wheatley stared at me. And actually - Vellian is startled a total of 3 times in book one! She tends to bite off more than she can chew sometimes...

The way the dragon-cows (yes, I'm going to continue calling them that)charge out of the dust cloud is truly terrifying. I swear I can hear the stampede every time I look at this page.

@Becky Farb: Thank you! I'm really coming to the conclusion that the stampede in Lion King that killed Mufasa has caused a general fear for them in us Millennials.

I absolutely love the look on Vellian's face! You portrayed her surprise and all so well!! "WHY MEEEEE!" SO funny!! I love it!

@Elizabeth Weadick : Ha ha ha, thank you! Yeah, and the Underworlder minions tend to be scaredy-cats when it comes to real danger. Ha ha.

Cows are not good on marriage... I said it all in the title. A woman drawing too many cows is a woman not to be trifled with. I know I should not end a sentence with... one of those... words...

@Marvel2007: Yes, too many dragon cows are never a good thing!
