If glass is falling from the sky, keep your eyes shut for heaven's sake, Silas!

Let me give you a little background about Agraria's history with dragons.
There were originally dozens of dragons scattered throughout the continent, designed to protect and help the citizens. Since they could live 200+ years, they were usually very wise and insightful along as being skillful protectors.
However, they ended up isolating themselves from the people they were supposed to live alongside with, and began fighting among themselves. In fact, the cave Selina is from was originally a den for a few dragons before they ended up turning on each other.
Eventually their numbers dwindled. These days, no one has seen a living dragon in over one hundred years and it's assumed they all died out.
So a living, breathing, vicious dragon showing up out of nowhere is rather unheard of.

I swear I saw a Dragon! OMGato!!! We finally get to see her Dragon form!!! I'm so excited! And the artwork for the expressions is amazing. From the dread in panel one to the anger in panel three, I love it. So great.

@Sgt. Sturgis : Hey! You're here! I've missed your comments, man. Anyway, yes, ta-dah, the grand reveal. And thanks! I've always loved drawing expressions, and Selina's rage-filled dragonish glare was especially fun to figure out.

Aww yes! I was really hoping for this!! Not that things are less awkward (not sure how Silas is gonna react), but yay for Selina to the rescue! I love the role reversal of it. :) And she looks awesome!! But much sadness for the broken window. Should've seen that coming.

Question: what's that crossed swords thing near Selina's claws? I didn't see it in the room earlier.

@Alex M: Yeah! I've been eager to show this as soon as I finished it! Yeah, I didn't even mean to switch everything with the princess rescuing the prince, it's just how the story played out, haha
Also, the round item with the swords is a coat of arms, it was resting at the foot of the bed which Selina just crushed. You can see the coat of arms in the first panel on page 50.

WOW! Oh man- I went back to the beginning at read each page, because I tend to lose sight of the story line week after week. But this is fantastic, in the best meaning of that word! I'm loving it! I'd love to see you actually write this as a novel... :)

@nancy: Oh my, thanks! I reread through the story from time to time, too :-) I'm glad you liked it!
I have fiddled around with a 70ish page backstory for these characters (specifically Silas and Selina and how they fell in love, their first Christmas together, etc) and it's been really cool seeing the characters in a novel setting. I'm definitely planning on drawing a few simple illustrations for it and will release it for anyone to read once book one of the webcomic is complete. :-)

I really like the lighting you've been using in this scene. Also, :o!!

@Anselme: Thank you! ^ ^ Moonlight makes for really cool lighting.
Oh, and...surprise. That's one way to crash a party.

The beautiful window! No! Ah well, at least it's for a good cause right?
Livin4thelamb July 17th, 2017, 4:57 pm
@MJ Neal: Ha ha ha! I mean, it was Silas or the window, so take your pick...

Yay! Dragon!
I love the expressions on this page. Silas is totally stunned, while not-Selina has this, "I know what this is and I am so dead," look on her face. And then there's Selina's, "You better believe you're dead," snarl.
Also . . . yay! Dragon!
Livin4thelamb July 17th, 2017, 9:14 pm
@Becky Farb: Ha ha, yes, you nailed them! And yeah, thanks, I just LOVE how the dragon turned out. :D
