I might have mentioned it before, but don't know if I confirmed this: Desolair lost his eye in a fight with an Underworlder twenty years ago - and that Underworlder happened to be Vellian.

Oh boy! That explains the increased anger now. I'd be really interested to hear Desolair's whole story now. Eep! I really don't want Selina to turn into a dragon here!

I really love that middle-right large panel. It almost feels like two shots in one, with the proportions, but the way you handled the depth is really intruiging to eye. I can't stop looking at it. :)

@Alex M: Awesome! Yeah, I was pleased with how the second panel turned out as well.

I agree with Alex, that panel is really attractive visually

Now remember: You are just a lump of clay! You can be moulded... Just knead out a few scales and claws without doing the whole dragon thing! Just Machia blood on the inside and Dragon blood on the outside... You really knead to learn pottery. Knowing yourself is half the battle!

@Guest: Haha! There's no partial-polymorph/dragonborn DnD thing going on here. Although that would be handy.
Also - nice pun *nods in approval*

I can't get over that amazing center panel! You can almost hear the leather wrappings around the knife handle creaking as Desolair clenches his fingers. And, poor Selina, her face always seems to take on a cadaverous look when she's frightened.
Also, way to hint at Desolair's backstory. What, or who, did he lose to the Underworlders? It really gives his character depth and I can't wait until more is revealed.

@Becky Farb: I'm so glad! Thank you.
